Port of Donnant: without doubt the most beautiful beach on the island, on to which the sea breaks in impressive rollers. A dune of approximately 30 metres forms a stunning backdrop to the beach.

Les Grands Sables: This is the longest beach on the island (approximately 1.5 km). An excellent location for water sports such as sailing, windsurfing and sea kayaking.

La Pointe des Poulains: dominated by a small lighthouse with a range of 23 miles. The site offers a stunning panorama, and on a clear day you can see as far as the island of Groix. Close by stands a small fort bought by the great actress Sarah Bernhardt in 1893.

The church of Locmaria: Set back slightly from a small shady square, this is the oldest church on the island. It is extremely pretty, painted all in white with a pepper-pot bell tower.
